A series of films by Andrew Gillman

Coming soon a series of short films from Andrew Gillman.

It’s not my fault

If they could hear what he was thinking… No, no, no - that would NOT be a good idea.

Imagine if you could hear what’s going on inside a man’s head as he walks around a party chatting to women he fancies and old friends he doesn’t like. This is a comedy of the easy deceit used in the pursuit of sex.  Will he get what he came for, or was going to the party a big mistake?

Not his fault?  Aw, c’mon - it's inside his head!

I didn’t do anything

His mother's funeral brings back the past and uncovers secrets that would have been best kept hidden:  The rivalries, envy and her screaming.  He couldn't stand her screaming - that and calling for his brother.  She always preferred his brother.  But he wasn’t the one left to care for her as she died. Why’s his brother brought a girl to the funeral, and what does he think he’s doing signing autographs? Then there’s suspicion and unspoken accusation – but he hadn’t done anything.  What letter?  She didn’t tell me about a letter. Is that mourner a policeman?

Paranoia and accusation in a comedy set at a funeral.

It wasn’t me

Two brothers.  One a Hollywood star marrying an equally famous starlet.  The other left at home with nothing except envy.  “Film star faker or the brother I grew up with?”  At the wedding party in a Scottish castle he looks around at the opulence and celebrities, his brother’s A-list guests.  He realises that he’s the only family member there. Now it all seems fake – from the prawn tower to his brother’s camp L.A. PA.  He should have had all this, not his brother.

He meets the bride for the first time – perfect Hollywood body - and decides that the she really want him, not his brother. This will be his revenge – for everything.

He realises his brother’s big secret, unspoken even now.  Everything changes.
