Ben Gibson

Background: BEN GIBSON is Director of the London Film School. He has worked in the UK film industry since 1981 as an independent distributor and a producer.

From 1981-87 he was a partner in The Other Cinema and joint founder of Metro Pictures and the Metro Cinema. From 1989-99 he was Head of Production at the British Film Institute. Producer credits include Love is the Devil, Beautiful People, Under the Skin, The Long Day Closes, Wittgenstein, London and Robinson in Space. He has also been a theatre director, repertory film programmer and film journalist.
