From April 14 to 25, 2011; 12 days on London's South Bank , the London Independent Film Festival showcases the best of the independents. The 2011 Festival promises to be the biggest yet, with entries from micro-budget filmmakers from across the world.

LIFF is for independent filmmakers with special attention being paid to those films created by first/second-time directors; films shot with budgets under £100,000; plus quality works that have not been distributed yet through conventional channels. The Grand Prize, sponsored by Prime Focus London, is valued at £50,000; winning the screenplay comp garners prizes and 'fast-tracked' consideration by William Morris Endeavor; with the Short Film Competition awarding more than £10,000 in prizes.
