Today saw the confirmation of Amazon's plans to introduce their new film streaming service.

First reported here at the start of this month following a, seemingly, accidental revelation, it has been confirmed that Amazon is now in direct competition with Netflix in the swiftly expanding 'unlimited' instant streaming market.

Forming part of it 'Amazon Prime' service subscribers will have access to 5,000 films and television stations as an inclusive facility for their annual shipping subscription fee.
