Bournemouth University are presenting The First Southern Script Festival over the weekend of the 26th and 27th March 2011.

The Festival will be held at Bournemouth University in the lecture halls and conference facilities of the new Kimmeridge House Suite. Designed to "...encourage, inspire and support not only students, but all writers looking to hone their skills in writing and networking" the festival is not just about listening to other people's work.

The Festival includes a host of guest speakers and industry participants - these include some amazingly influential figures from the industry including up to the minute practitioners from the world of UK Film and television mainstream writers. The writers responsible for crafting and drafting iconic shows we all know are joined by those offering a different kind of advice and a wealth of experience on how to get your work noticed and produced.
