"Call for Entries: Short Film and Short Animation Awards" .

Many of you will already be aware of this prestigious awards event, but have you ever considered submitting your own material? Having seen the quality of the many short films that can be produced in this country at both college and post graduate levels, at festivals and those here on MM in our little competition, I think there are some contenders who have shown some stuff here that shouldn't waste any time in applying. Go for it, as that irritating phrase on the telly says "you have to be in it to win it"! The details sent out by BAFTA are as follows;

 

"Call for Entries: Short Film and Short Animation Awards. The Academy is now accepting entries for its Short Film and Short Animation Awards, part of the Orange British Academy Film Awards presented in February 2012.

The deadline for entries is 12:00 GMT, Friday 28 October 2011. If you’ve any questions about the process, or the rules, please don’t hesitate to get in touch."
