Recommendations for the Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award are being gathered by BAFTA.

The award honours any young actor or actress from all nationalities who have not yet 'broken out' but have come to the notice of the British Public by showing exceptional "talent and ambition" through their films. They must have appeared in an awards-eligible film released between 1 January and 31 December 2011. BAFTA have requested "Recommendations to: bafta2012@cakegroup.com before Friday 23 September." This award was created in honour of Mary Selway.
Eligibility for these awards is strictly in accordance with BAFTA regulations, terms & conditions. MM
